Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is one of the major internet service available in the market nowadays. With its help, download data speeds of 256 to 24000 Kbps are possible. * X DSL- It is a collective name given to almost all the DSL technologies with the two main categories- ADSL and SDSL technologies.

* X2 /DSL- It is a kind of modem that supports 56 Kbps communication. It is upgraded via new software installation to ADSL when available in the user's area.
